The best choice in Natural Stone.
We are quarriers and distributors of many types of "natural" stone. Each type of stone we sell is hand picked by thickness and stacked onto pallets, ready to be shipped to you.

Our products contain superb natural beauty for new construction and offer a renewed splendor for remodeling projects. Natural stone is a perfect low-maintenance finish to beautify commercial, residential or recreational properties.

Kootenay Stone Centre provides quality natural stone in large or small volumes for anyone wanting to create a beautiful, lasting impression.

Feature Product:

Red Ripple is a beautiful very rough textured stone. It is the perfect choice for log homes, the Alpine Chalet or the cottage at the beach.

This type of stone has the appearance and texture of a cedar shake. The colors range from a very reddish brown to other shades of brown with tones of yellow, pink, white and tan. There are sparkles of minerals showing in much of it.

Red Ripple comes in pallets of 1 inch stone, 2 inch stone or a mixture of dry-pac and 2-6 inch stone.

You can create many styles and themes with this stone. I prefer it with no mortar showing as it looks more like it does in the natural laying in the quarry, but others like it with a mortar joint. Because of its rough texture it would not be a good choice for floors or patios.
